Refund Policy

This Refund Policy covers purchases made on cv·ai. Please read it carefully before buying credits.

Summary

Automatic refund for failed generations. 14-day refund window for unused purchased credits. No refunds on consumed credits.

1. Automatic Credit Refunds (Failed Generations)

If a credit is deducted and the AI generation fails due to a technical error on our side — including API timeouts, server errors, or any failure that prevents output from being delivered — the credit is automatically refunded to your account immediately. You do not need to contact us for this.

2. Refunds on Purchased Credits

We offer refunds on purchased credit packs under the following conditions:

  • Eligible: Refund requests made within 14 days of purchase where the credits have not been used
  • Eligible: Refund requests where a technical issue prevented you from using the service entirely
  • Not eligible: Credits that have been partially or fully consumed
  • Not eligible: Refund requests made more than 14 days after purchase
  • Not eligible: Dissatisfaction with AI output quality alone (AI outputs are inherently variable — we encourage using free credits to evaluate quality before purchasing)

3. Free Credits

Free credits provided on signup are non-refundable and have no cash value. They exist to let you evaluate the service before making a purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@cv-ai.app with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of purchase
  • The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

5. Disputed Charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us at support@cv-ai.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve billing issues quickly and a chargeback may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
