Full-time Remote OK

Job Description

About Us

Endear is building the first modern CRM for retail teams. We empower brands to drive more in-store sales by giving their retail teams AI-powered tools to have 10x more personalized, human conversations with customers. Despite retail being 6x larger than eCommerce, brick-and-mortar retail has been largely overlooked by the technology industry. We're changing that by enabling thousands of salespeople to leverage customer data in meaningful ways.

Founded 5 years ago, Endear has demonstrated strong product-market fit and reached profitability multiple times. Our platform was built from the ground up by technical leaders who have scaled data platforms to hundreds of millions of users and been at startups from early-stage through IPO. We make measured, high-conviction decisions at every milestone to ensure long-term success while realizing our massive potential in the retail market.

Our Work Environment

  • Remote-first culture built on trust and autonomy

  • Small, highly effective team (20-ish employees)

  • Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • High-ownership culture where outcomes matter

  • Collaborative atmosphere that values learning and teaching

About the Role

We are seeking an account manager with a passion for helping our existing customers in a variety of ways to ensure their long term success with Endear. Our dream candidate is self-motivated and has an entrepreneur-like attitude towards their work. In other words, you like owning your process and the results that follow. You have a solutions-first approach to helping customers, with an eye on how support can result in upsells, referrals, and expansion

What You'll Own

  • Perform customer trainings and onboardings with screenshare app walkthroughs and Q&A’s.

  • Periodically check in on account health & performance to spot any potential drop offs in adoption.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the performance of customer accounts through strategic guidance, problem solving, and providing needed materials.

  • Guide customers through the expansion/renewal process.

  • Develop resources and assets both video and written to improve customer success at Endear.

  • Work cross-functionally with product and marketing to ensure two-way feedback opportunities between your accounts and the corporate team

  • Act as an additional support system for sales team for smaller sales opportunities

  • Maintain an active role in customer support over chat, email, and phone when needed

Why This Role Matters

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the growth of Endear and will be involved in shaping the future of Account Management at Endear. You will be responsible for owning the relationships with key customer accounts, onboarding new customers, and improving the overall adoption, success, and expansion across Endear.

  • You’re eager to learn and grow beyond this role by having an "all hands on deck" attitude.
